Active ingredients

Boswellia or incense tree grows in the hilly regions of India and produces an aromatic resin. Boswellia resin has been used for millennial in Ayurvedic medicine and applied to the skin as a poultice for its anti-inflammatory properties. It contains an active ingredient, boswellic acid, which has the property of blocking the action of the enzyme responsible for inflammation of the skin and prevents sensitivity skin reactions: redness, pain, itchiness, tightness, etc.
