When Sandrine discovered yoga several years ago, she had a revelation: she had to leave her office job to do something she really enjoyed and believed in.

While yoga was still a little-known discipline in France, she decided to train in the United States, then launched her Yoga Sculpt classes: a dynamic and sporty yoga that people immediately embraced. In addition to teaching, she shares her fitness and wellness tips on her Instagram account, much to the delight of her followers.

How has yoga changed your life?

Yoga literally changed my outlook on life.

I had a real awakening to the world around me, it changed my relationship with others, my body, my diet and developed my intuition. I learned to slow down, listen to my desires and do myself good.

It has awakened in me a new vision of life in which taking care of oneself and others is the most important. I feel more present, and I have the feeling of having become an actor in my life and no longer a spectator. A true gentle revolution, both internal and external.

How would you describe the link between sport and beauty?

I would say that one doesn't go without the other. Yoga, like all other sports, improves the quality of the skin and allows you to eliminate toxins through perspiration. A true detox for the body.

But more generally I would say that sport helps us to have confidence in ourselves, and self-confidence. is undeniably the most beautiful secret and beauty asset.

What does the daily life of a yogi look like?

We are all different, and just because we are yoga practitioners does not mean we have a particular routine dictated by clichés such as getting up at dawn, drinking green juices, eating seeds, etc. Yoga has modernized and tends to move away from these clichés.

As for me, my days are quite different depending on where I am. I simply try to stay active every day, eat healthy, practice meditation when I can, practice yoga every day for at least 10 minutes and walk at least 10,000 steps a day. I don't have a pre-established schedule or timetable, I live each day according to my mood and my desires of the moment.

Your first beauty routine in the morning?

I recently adopted a new morning routine: as soon as I wake up, I drink a glass of water and then prepare a celery juice. I have read a lot of benefits about this "miracle" juice, which should be taken on an empty stomach in the morning and 15 to 30 minutes before breakfast. Drinking celery juice every day probably guarantees beautiful skin, a luminous complexion and a boost of energy.

I then take my food supplements : Spirulina, Turmeric, vitamin B12, and at the moment vitamin D because it is winter, then I head to the bathroom: I first spray my skin with facial water to wake it up.

I then apply a facial moisturizer and an eye cream. to smooth out the features.

Your secret beauty tip?

Collagen ! I started taking it as a dietary supplement last year and I have to say I'm amazed by the results (hair, nails, skin appearance, luminous complexion, etc.)

Do you have any beauty tips for jet lag?

Drink lots of water!

When I fly, I drink every hour. For me, hydration is the best beauty tip for jet lag. Then I would add getting enough sleep , a real beauty and health gesture. Good sleep is restorative and regenerative, it contributes to cell renewal and is essential for the proper functioning of the nervous system.
