The rules and tips you need to know to maximize the effects of your beauty treatments.

Know the right actions

Did you know that applying your beauty products with precise movements maximizes their effects? This is true for slimming creams, but also for facial treatments!

To apply your serum or day cream, first warm it between your hands before patting it onto your forehead, cheeks, nose, chin, and neck. Then spread it with your curved index fingers, stretching outward toward the face.

For the eye area, first apply 4 small dots of cream all around the eye and then “smooth” outwards using the middle and index fingers.

Use the Home Gestures video to help you memorize these famous everyday gestures.

Finally, for radiant, plump skin, practice the famous gesture one minute a day in front of the mirror, guaranteed results in three weeks!

Add a serum to your routine

If your day cream is effective, it's even more so when preceded by a serum. Concentrated in active ingredients, it targets skin problems and works in synergy with your facial treatment.

You don't have to use it regularly, and you can also incorporate it periodically into your routine depending on changes (often seasonal) and skin imperfections.

Dry skin? Opt for the super-quenching Source Adaptogenic Rehydrating Serum, which contains a duo of adaptogenic plants (Breton Algae & Reishi Mushroom) and Hyaluronic Acid, it intensely recharges the skin with water for 72-hour hydration.

Oily and/or blemish-prone skin? Choose the Pâte Grise Clear Skin Serum, an anti-blemish clear skin serum enriched with zinc to effectively combat blemishes and limit their appearance.

Apply your treatments in the right order

Having a morning and evening skincare routine is good, but you still need to apply it in the right order for it to be effective!

Taking care of your skin means, above all, cleaning it well, so we start by removing makeup properly to remove all the impurities and pollution particles stuck to the skin.

Micellar water, oil, cream, foam or even gel like D'Tox Cleansing Jelly, it's up to you to choose the one that suits you best.

After removing makeup, cleanse to remove stubborn residue and purify your skin. Use the Purifying Foaming Cleansing Jelly Gray Paste if your skin is prone to blemishes or tends to be shiny.

Once your skin is completely clean and dry, it's time to apply the serum that will target your skin problem. Next, it's the eye contour's turn to moisturize the sensitive area of the lower eyelid.

You can now apply your day or night cream which will act as a hydrating shield and complete your routine.

Once or twice a week, remember to exfoliate your skin after cleansing and then apply your mask before rinsing and then moving on to the three steps: Serum, eye contour and facial treatment.

Exfoliate to clear skin

Facial exfoliation boosts the natural cell renewal of our epidermis. The skin is then rid of dead cells and impurities that accumulate in our pores. It is then better oxygenated and will be better able to receive care.

If your skin type is normal or combination to oily, you can use a grain scrub. For dry and/or sensitive skin, opt for gentle exfoliants like the Grain-Free Gentle Scrub.

Skin exfoliates once or twice a week, no more! After being "exfoliated," the upper layer of the epidermis is thinner, so take the opportunity to apply your serum directly, which will boost its effectiveness. Conversely, avoid sun exposure the same day to give your skin time to regenerate and be able to protect itself.
