Facial application technique

Inspired by the legendary PAYOT Method, this technique blends smoothing and breathing movements with draining and relaxing gestures for a soothing application and enhanced effectiveness.

To be performed with all facial treatments — serum, day cream, and night cream.

Eye contour application technique

Inspired by the iconic PAYOT Method, this technique combines smoothing and draining movements for expert application on the delicate eye contour area, enhancing product effectiveness.

To be performed with all eye contour treatments.

In 4 steps

1. DECONGEST

Using your ring fingers, apply the product around the eyes with gentle tapping motions — under the eyes from the inner corners out toward the temples, and on the upper eyelids from the temples inward.

Repeat the tapping using all four fingers (index, middle, ring, and pinky) — 2 passes.

2. DRAIN

Apply pressure to specific acupressure points along the meridians to activate drainage.

With each pressure point, take a deep breath, then apply firm pressure for 3 seconds.

Bladder Meridian

• Pressure on the inner corners of the eyes – V1 (using index fingers)

• Pressure at the start of the eyebrows – V2 (using thumbs)

Gallbladder Meridian

• Pressure on the outer corners of the eyes (using index fingers)

Stomach Meridian

• Pressure in the center of the cheekbones (using index fingers)

3. SMOOTH OUT

Place the fingers of both hands on the left temple and gently stretch the skin by moving your fingers away from each other, specifically targeting each expression line.

Repeat on the right side.

4. EXFOLIATE

Using the textured side of the QUARTZ ROLLER, gently exfoliate the same expression lines with back-and-forth motions on each temple.
