Your vacation is approaching and you've got everything planned to make the most of your stay in the sun. Sunglasses, swimsuits, summer outfits, and summer reading material are already in your suitcase, just waiting for you to leave.
But have you thought about taking care of your skin, which will be exposed to UV rays for long hours?
Discover a face and body care routine tailored to protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun.
I - Exfoliating treatments for a luminous tan
This year, it's decided: our tan will be even and luminous. Say goodbye to the grayish back-to-school complexion and opt for a tan that lasts. To prepare your skin, we recommend exfoliating your body and face every week to remove dead skin and impurities that accumulate on the skin's surface and dull your complexion.

II - Food supplements to prepare and prolong tanning
We now know that certain molecules and vitamins can boost the skin's activity in order to best prepare it for sun exposure (be careful, however, not to forget sunscreen because these food supplements do not protect the skin). Starting a treatment a month before exposure allows you to give your skin everything it needs for a lasting tan and healthy skin.
III - Choosing the right sun protection
When it comes to sun protection, there are several criteria to consider. First, the SPF, SPF 30 or SPF 50? The higher the SPF, the longer the protection lasts to filter out the UVB rays responsible for sunburn. It's important to note that your skin will tan regardless of the sunscreen you choose.
If your skin is particularly sensitive, you have fair skin, or you plan to spend a lot of time in the sun, opt for SPF 50 or 50+ protection to avoid sunburn and sun damage. We also recommend avoiding sun exposure during the hottest hours of the day, between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m., to limit the risk of sunburn and premature skin aging.
Regarding the texture, choose the one that seems most practical to you. A stick, for example, will be perfect for the face or small areas where a touch-up is necessary during the day; it will also be easily transportable.
A sunscreen will make application easier thanks to its non-sticky finish, ideal for the beach.
Our recommendation: Apply sunscreen to your face and body every morning. Remember to reapply every two hours and after swimming to ensure optimal protection.
The Very High Protection Stick SPF50+ is suitable for all skin types and is particularly suitable for application to the face thanks to its completely transparent texture which transforms into a fine oil on contact with the skin.
IV - Hydration: the secret to a tan that lasts
For the body, apply a few pumps of moisturizing milk to the skin after getting out of the shower, when the skin is still a little damp to boost its absorption. Our recommendation: Source Adaptogenic Moisturizing Jelly enriched with hyaluronic acid for dry skin and My Payot Vitamin Jelly for normal to combination skin, you will appreciate their fresh texture which penetrates instantly without leaving a greasy finish on the skin. For the body, 24h Moisturizing Milk helps keep skin hydrated and supple throughout the day.
