The sun is coming out, and your forehead is starting to shine? If your skin is combination or oily, it will tend to shine in the T-zone. Don't panic, here are some wise tips to rebalance it.
Clean thoroughly
It is therefore important to wash your face thoroughly morning and evening, preferably using a gel cleanser to avoid making your skin greasy. PAYOT Purifying Foaming Cleansing Jelly will be incredibly effective if your skin is more prone to imperfections. Finish your cleansing with a treatment lotion like PAYOT Purifying Micellar Cleansing Water, which will provide a lasting mattifying effect to the T-zone.
Once a week, perform a gentle exfoliation with the PAYOT Purifying Exfoliating Stick, followed by a face mask and then a moisturizing treatment.
Finally, before going to bed, make sure your pillowcase is clean so as not to re-dirty that beautiful skin that you have just carefully cleaned.

Choose the right care
If your T-zone has blemishes or even acne, opt for a cream for oily and/or problem skin like PAYOT Mattifying Emulsion. If not, choose a light texture like a fluid or jelly, such as My Payot Vitamin-Brightening Gel, which is ideal for normal to combination skin.
Your nighttime treatment can be a little richer, especially if your skin tends to get dry around your cheeks and neck.
Finally, don't forget to choose a good serum; it will target your skin's problem and provide a double dose of effectiveness. The new PAYOT Anti-Imperfections Clear Skin Serum, enriched with zinc and chili mint extract, is ideal for getting rid of small spots, blackheads, and microcysts that appear on our nose, forehead, and chin.

Treat locally
If small spots appear on your T-zone, treat them locally with PAYOT Original Stop Spot Paste, which you will apply locally before bed. In winter, certain areas may become dry and tight; if you feel your skin needs it, treat it to a weekly moisturizing mask such as PAYOT Rehydrating Balm Mask

Go easy on makeup
If you simply want to control shine, apply a mattifying day cream like PAYOT Mattifying Emulsion and loose powder or blotting paper for touch-ups if necessary.
Finally, as mentioned previously, always make sure to remove your makeup and cleanse your skin when you get home to let it breathe as much as possible.

Watch your diet
The quality of the skin also plays a role in what you eat, and oily and/or blemished skin sometimes pays the price.
You don't have to go on a diet; you just need to limit your sugar intake, as it causes insulin spikes and affects the production of androgens, one of the hormones responsible for acne. As you can see, for healthy skin, eat less candy and more fruit for dessert.
Conversely, oily fish and seafood rich in omega-3 and zinc have anti-inflammatory properties on the skin, so by consuming them twice a week they will become, just like your skincare routine, real allies against your imperfections. If you are vegetarian, consider eating oilseeds (walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, etc.) and supplement if necessary with marine collagen or spirulina food supplements.
