Who are you, what do you do?
I am a free electron, constantly on the move, who loves to create and discover new things. I am an optimist who likes to share good vibes. Also artistic manager, I take care of communication at Season Paris. Besides that, I develop my passion for self-exploration, by creating events around well-being and sharing.
What is your beauty routine for taking care of your skin?
For me, beauty comes from within, so I pay attention to what I eat . I try to eat healthy at least 80% of the time , I exercise , and I use the most natural products possible.
In the morning, I always wash my face with cold water , then I apply a serum, a cream or vegetable oil and an eye contour. At the end of my makeup, I also apply a moisturizing mist. During the day, I do my best not to touch my face, before I had the bad habit of touching my pimples. Now I try to live with them and leave them alone. The more we touch them, the worse they get. I learned that our skin can never be perfect and since then it's been better.
In the evening , I cleanse my skin with a cleansing gel or oil. I don't do cleansing routines with several products; honestly, it's already a lot for me to remove my makeup. I use my hands, which I clean well beforehand. No cotton or gloves. To be consistent, I need it to be simple. The only rule I apply to myself is to never sleep without removing my makeup. Sometimes I don't wear anything for a night or two, I feel like it lets my skin breathe.
Your best beauty tip?
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. I used to not drink enough water and I saw the impact on my skin.
What beauty secrets did you get from your mother or grandmother?
My mother always told me, "It all starts on the plate." She taught me to eat healthy while still knowing how to treat myself. I would like to look like her at her age. She's 63, but people always think she's at least 20 years younger. And I remember from my grandmother that the inside reflects the outside. Suffice to say, for me, beauty starts there.
How do you take care of your curly hair?
I try to be as gentle as possible.
I wash them once a week , comb them then. I add conditioner that I use like a cream and I hardly touch them after that. I moisten and moisturize them about every 2 days with jojoba oil and depending on their condition, I add conditioner or not.
Since I use the hairdryer quite a lot and my curls need to be moisturized, I try to do it regularly.
But I mostly leave them alone! If they are really tired, I make a mask with avocado and an egg . Or I wash them with an egg . At one point my hair was dull, I stopped shampooing and instead I washed it with an egg and added a few drops of essential oil. After a month they had regained their shine, hold, and strength.
How do you stay in shape? What sports do you play?
'try to stay active . I walk, skateboard or cycle as much as I can. Sport is a bit like a drug for me. I've been doing it since I was 10 years old. In general, I vary my sporting activities by taking different classes or trying new practices ( yoga, boxing, running, hit training, qi gong ). When I have trouble finding time to do sport, I include more walking.
Staying active is essential for me. I regularly check my Pacer app to see if I've completed my 10,000 steps per day , and if not, I walk to the next station.
Your advice for staying positive?
First of all, BREATHE. Many situations can be resolved by breathing before acting.
Then, I try to find at least one positive point in every situation. There is always at least one. Being grateful for what you already have and living in the present moment are things that allow you to remain optimistic . Before, I wasn't like that at all, but I learned to stop being frustrated by things I can't control. Sometimes it comes back, but I train my brain to think positively . It's really a workout. And then I believe in destiny , so that also takes a big weight off my shoulders and has completely changed my state of mind.
