We try our best to camouflage facial redness with anti-redness corrective treatments, foundation, CC cream, etc. To have beautiful skin, it's better to tackle the cause rather than hide it!

What is reactive skin?

Reactive skin is simply skin that suffers from hypersensitivity: it is a characteristic of the skin and not a skin type.

Hypersensitivity can manifest itself over a long period of time or over a much shorter period of time. It is a skin whose tolerance threshold is much lower than normal when faced with external aggressions. The hydrolipidic barrier of sensitive skin is weakened: it no longer fulfills its primary function, which is to protect the skin from aggressions. Redness and irritation appear, the skin is no longer held and is dehydrated.

You must therefore take care of it and adopt the right beauty routine which will allow you to strengthen your tolerance threshold and help your sensitive skin become less prone to skin irritations and imperfections.

How to combat skin reactions?

Hiding redness under makeup is good, but helping your skin become more tolerant and less reactive is better!

Sort through your products. Choose fragrance-free facial care products with soothing and comforting properties, preferably anti-redness.

Avoid cleansing your skin with tap water, which is often too rich in limescale and unfortunately unsuitable for sensitive skin. Instead, choose a cleanse without tap water and use skincare products specifically designed for your skin condition.

The ideal beauty routine for sensitive skin

Pamper your skin with the right care!

Cleanse your skin morning and evening with Nue Micellar Cleansing Milk, which firstly cleanses and removes makeup from the skin while respecting it thanks to its gentle agents and soothing properties.

Morning and evening, apply a drop of Source Adaptogenic Rehydrating Serum to compensate for the lack of hydration before applying Source Adaptogenic Moisturizing Cream which acts deep down to strengthen the skin's resistance to external aggressions.

The skin around the eyes, which is much thinner, requires specific care that decongests and comforts. Recommended for the eye area: the Moisturizing Eye Stick with its refreshing and protective action.
